From July 6th to 18th, intinerary Group B will be travelling to Zug, Switzerland, for prayer, service, formation, and exploration of the city and surrounding area. With a population of about 28,000, Zug is still one of the largest cities in Switzerland. It reaches 3,409 feet at its highest elevation and sits in view of the Bernese Oberland, or Bernese Highlands, part of the Swiss Alps, and is surrunded by plenty of opportunities for beautiful hikes. In fact, the Beatitudes community there leads youth on hikes often to encounter the Lord in nature.

During the Reformation of the 16th century, Zug remained on the Catholic "side" of Switzerland, and to this day is rather proud of its "old faith". Two notable buildings in the town are the parish churches of St. Oswald and St. Michael, the city's patrons. The Community is a spiritual leader in the city, providing daily adoration, liturgical offices, family days, and youth events. Below on the left is St. Oswald's, and on the right is St. Michael's.

June is a pleasant month, with temperatures ranging from 55-75 degrees Faherenheit. About 11 days of the month get rain...so those on Group B, bring your rain gear!
